The brief highlights of maaza Miss India New York 2012-13 and Miss Teen India New York is scheduled for airing on Sahara One, on the weekly program “Your Voice” on Saturday March 2nd at 12:30 pm (ET). This program will also be repeated on Sunday March 3rd at 5:30 pm (ET).

Miss India USA and Miss Teen India USA 2012-13 was a grand event yesterday! Congratulations to Priyam Bhargava representing Washington D.C. for winning the title of Miss India USA 2012-13! Priyam will represent the USA at Miss India Worldwide 2013 to be held on April 27, 2013 in Kuala Lampur, Malayasia. Congratulations are also due to Akshaya Vijaykumar from Georgia, the First Ever Miss Teen India USA! Akshaya also won Best Talent with her mesmerizing classical singing performance to the song “Mere Dholna”.

On February 10, Noopoor Akruwala was crowned maaza Miss India New York and Sonia Anand was crowned Miss Teen India New York. The two will move on to Miss India USA and Miss Teen India USA to be held on February 24 at Royal Alberts Palace in Ford, NJ. Congratulations to Noopoor and Sonia and best of luck in the upcoming pageant!

The contestants for maaza Miss India New York and Miss Teen India New York met this past weekend to start practicing for the big show! Nishi Bahl and Shilpa Jhurani taught the contestants the choreography for the segments and the opening number.
