The contestants kicked off the day with rehearsals and then went off to the desert safari adventure by Lama tours. At the desert safari, the contestants rode in jeeps that drove up and down sand dunes followed by camel rides at the camp site. At the camp site, they enjoyed a barbecue, belly dancing and traditional Tanoura dancing. It was a magical night!

All 40 contestants have arrived to Dubai! This is a special year as we have 40 countries for the first time in our 23 year history. John Matthew, Eisha Ramrakhiani and the team Emirates Vision gave us a warm welcome and have been wonderful hosts. We kicked off day 1, June 15, with a sashing ceremony and reception at Melia Hotel in Dubai. We are so excited for this week full of festivities. Today the contestants are off to see the Desert Safari.

Miss India Worldwide is just around the corner! Delegates from 40 countries around the world will be arriving to Dubai this weekend for a week full of glamour, culture and bollywood! Check out our upcoming events page to meet the contestants!

The Talent Night will be on June 18 in Dubai and the Grand Finale will be on June 20 in Abu Dhabi.

Our very own Tosha Patel is one of the twenty one contestants selected out of over five thousand contestants for Dance India Dance, USA edition. Zee TV Americas together with Arya Dance Academy will present the first ever Dance India Dance USA edition on Saturday, December 7th at the State Theatre in Livingston, NJ. The judges will be Feroze Khan, Rupal Patel, Salman Yusuuf Khan and Karan V. Grover.

Tosha won our hearts with her Kathak performance to “Salaam” from the movie Umrao Jaan back at the young age of 13. She went on to win Best Talent and the title of the First Miss Teen India New York. She has been learning dance since the age of 5. We are so proud of you Tosha and wish you the very best!
